In this hands-on workshop, participants will gain all of the knowledge, skills, and a list of tools needed to maintain the health and abundance of their fruit trees. We will be covering the different pruning cuts/techniques, timing, tools, and how to help assess the overall health of your fruit trees. We will be making sure to touch on the difference between pruning citrus vs. stone fruits as well, and practicing our cuts. This workshop is meant for anyone who has a fruit tree, whether it's a potted citrus on a patio or a backyard orchard.
Please note: it is recommended that participants bring hand pruners, gloves, and questions about their tree. Hand pruners and pruning saws will be available for purchase onsite.
