Bring Your Own: garment to rescue with Becka Palter

  • Plants Por Favor 3011 Ivy St San Diego United States (map)

One of Hawk & Needle’s favorite ways to use embroidery is to rescue loved garments that haven’t gotten to see the light of day because of a blemish.  Maybe it’s an impossible to remove food stain, or permanent marker, or some mystery spot.  We all have a piece of clothing that we love, but no longer want to wear out because of a stain.

This month’s embroidery class will focus on using the basics of embroidery to create creative cover ups.  Learn about fabric stabilization, creating an effective design, and implementing it in a way that is long lasting.

Come save your favorite clothes!
